Caroline says, "I've never really considered myself a technique-y person, but one of my favorite techniques is to create my own flower embellishments. I love cutting freehand circle/flower shapes, and just layering them, and finishing them off with a pretty brad, button or jewel (I used the pearl brads from the I Do line here). I decided to create mine here with the fabric paper from the Dear Lizzy line - love the fabric texture, and love that it's self-adhesive to make it easier to peel and stick on top of each other. I added a pearl brad to the centers of the two smaller ones, but I cut out a rose shape from the Dear Lizzy ruffle ribbon. I love the texture it adds!"
Thanks for the tips and techniques Caroline! We all know how awesome handmade flowers are and the great touch of handmadeness they add to any layout!

Cute! Can we get close-up shots of the flowers? Pretty please?
