Here are five fun facts about Shimelle:

1) Discovered scrapbooking while rehearsing a play about three sisters who keep a family scrapbook that seems to only contain sad news.

2) Taught ballet classes at the YMCA to help pay for college.

3) Loves to travel, but hates boats. Or more accurately, hates that she gets seasick in about twenty-two seconds.

4) Lives just a few steps off the Prime Meridian and has to cross it pretty much every day, so technically she lives in the eastern hemisphere but gets her groceries in the western hemisphere.

5) Collects old copies of Through the Looking Glass whenever she visits somewhere new (or her local antique market).

The layout is knockout, as Shimelle's usually are-- but I think it's totally cool that you live right by the Prime Meridian and regularly cross over to the other hemisphere! (lol!! I'm a total geek, I know.)

Great page! Love the idea of using only kraft paper for trip photos- maybe one day I'll be lucky and travel for that long as well- sounds amazing!
