Instagram is a fun, free app available on iPhones and Android phones where you snap a picture, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post it to Instagram and/or share to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr so all your friends and family can see what you're doing at the moment. It's quite an addicting application! This week we'll show you how you can take these special pictures and incorporate them into your scrapbooking. Melissa Mann shares the first pair of layouts featuring Instagram photos:

i love the filter part of instagram.

Sadly I have a DUMB phone...lol but my son has a smart phone and a tablet....and I love all the pictures he takes and all the special effects he does to his awesome photos!!!! Thanks for the chance to win...I would give it to my son for all of his fun photos :)

I like to take pictures of my little boy going about his daily routine - he's only 8 months! I've managed to capture so many cute smiles and little moments that would have been lost had I taken the time to get the good camera out!
I took some pictures at my cousins wedding last month which came out really well - the ones with the filters were brilliant and they looked so romantic! Can't wait to scrap them with some nice vintage style papers!

I love using Instagram to snap really cool pics out in nature... Have captured some amazing pics of butterflies, flowers, and other wildlife :) I also love it to capture pictures of my 2 amazing boys of course <3

My son and his wife live in Colorado, which is 600 miles away. He keeps me in their lives by using instagram pics and posting them to me ... usually daily ... and it makes the a sting of missing them a bit less.

I usually take pictures of food. I never have a camera with me when I'm eating out but my iPod is always in my purse, giving me easy access to Instagram when I'm eating something super awesome!

It helps me "fill in the gaps" when the camera is too bulky or heavy to take with me.

I LOVE taking pictures of the sky. They sky when it is full of puffy clouds, when there is a storm, lightening, a rainbow in the sky, or even a bird flying in the sky. It is a great subject because it is always different.

IG is an app I have on my home screen and use constantly. I take pictures of random things, but mostly my dogs. I have five and they're all lazy characters!! I'm glad IG made the move to androids cause using my iPad to use it wasn't any fun lol

My favorite Instagram subject is flowers. Wherever I go, vacation or otherwise, I take closeups and enjoy trying out all the edit options in Instagram to find the best.
