Short bio: Hi, I’m Leslie Ashe. I’m a born and bred Texan who met, fell in love, and married my California boy (Alan) 22 years ago. (Who, btw, moved to Texas. For me.) We have two amazing children (Savannah and Shaypher) who are the lights of our lives! They’re both off at college, so our nest is a bit empty, but fills up quickly when they’re home for holidays and weekends. Scrapbooking began for me over 16 years ago and I haven’t looked back since. Creating is my outlet. When I’m not creating you can find me curled up with a good book, with my family, or out snapping all the memories I can get in a day. I’ve been blessed beyond belief to have some of my works published in Scrapbook Trends, Simply Handmade, Cards, Creating Keepsakes, along with several idea books. It’s quite a dream come true to be a part of American Crafts for another year!
Favorite thing to scrapbook: My kids, hands down!
Favorite AC product: If I have to name just one, it's Thickers! It's a rare project that doesn't include them!
5 fun facts:
1. My husband of 22 years still makes my heart pitter pat!
2. I can read a novel in one day. I LOVE to read. My kids think I should have been a librarian.
3. Speaking of my kids – they hate it when I get asked if I’m their
“sister” when we’re out somewhere. I quite delight in that fact.
4. When I feel like a treat, my #1 place to stop is Starbucks. It’s no wonder I reached “gold” level so fast.
5. Clowns will always ALWAYS freak me out. I can’t even go to the circus. It’s that bad.
THE WELCOME COMMITTEE by Leslie Ashe
Leslie shares, "It was a GREAT day when princess Presley was born! My middle sister and I drove to Houston to be with the family to welcome her into this world. It was a fun experience to bond with my sisters and take on our new roles as “great aunts” and “grandmother”. I wanted that to be the focus of my project so I used the delicate shades of Dear Lizzy Neapolitan with my bold black and white photos."

A person's good reasons are in all probability more desirable and a lot more forbidding as compared to these types of. (That underscores a natural original potential, incidentally. Still Document digress.) (A possibly not actual translation. translated simply by Arif Mohammad Khan, Ex-MP China) Bear in mind "Content is normally King" and you'll turn out to be in which double.
