Hello again friends! I’m feeling a bit ambushed by the fact that December is nearly upon us, but in an attempt to embrace this hectic season of holidays and family and winter weather, I’ve decided to start creating with my Christmas supplies, namely All Wrapped Up by American Crafts. I’m not ready for Christmas itself, so I’m embracing Winter layouts at the moment and scrapping some photos from last winter to fill in some holes in the family scrapbooks.
In order to keep this layout more wintery and less Christmasy, I mixed in a few supplies from other American Crafts Collection. Those gorgeous gold edged Thickers and gold dipped tag are from the DIY 4 collection, while that great scripted white “Moments” Thicker is from the Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Life Collection. There is even a bit of Shimelle’s gorgeous Go Now Go Collection on this layout, with the enamel stars and fun phrase stickers.
This layout started with the simple idea to add the glittered transparent snowflake stickers on top of the wooden trees and it “snowballed” Into what you see here. Once the trees were covered in snow, I scattered the remaining stickers on the kraft background to simulate more snowfall.
The title came together next as I managed to find the perfect combination of Thickers from the other AC collections. Once I had brought some gold into the layout with the word Winter, I was able to use the lovely gold hang tag to complete the project with some journaling and perfectly contoured piece of twine.
And finally, because the layout was looking a little bottom heavy, I added the “Let it Snow” tag with one of the adorable mini clothespins from the All Wrapped Up Collection.
So don’t wait for Christmas photos to begin using those gorgeous Christmas supplies. Go ahead and make some Winter layouts and get the most out of your seasonal stash! Happy Winter crafting friends!
