Wendy Sue says: "I bought these wooden letters several years ago at a craft store. I painted them red and used them for a few Christmases, then I put them away because I didn’t love them anymore. This year I decided to jazz them up so I could display them again. I covered each letter with patterned paper (mod podge is my friend!). After they were dry, I sanded all of the edges and started embellishing. Sometime along the way I thought it would be fun to turn the “O” into a count-down to Christmas. Now I love our little letters and my kids are excited to change the numbers each evening as we prepare for the big day!"
I'd love to receive this as a gift! And what a great use of those fabulous Merrymint papers, Wendy Sue.
Very Cute!
