Hope you are all enjoying the CHA sneak peeks! It's been exciting to read all the feedback on Dear Lizzy... we can't wait to see how you use it! Before we share some more, let's announce our fabulous winner from last weeks 30 Minute Layout Week Challenge. Congratulations to Diana!
This weeks challenge is another fun and easy one for you...
And here's another cool project from Design Team member Beth to help give you a little inspiration!
Supplies: Junior Play Ball Rub-On Transfers (43360) - Minimarks, Boom Paper
(34949) - Junior, Radical Paper (34952) - Junior, Rock On Paper (34960)
- Junior, Yay Paper (34966) - Junior, Kapow Paper (34967) -Junior
Beth says: "On a recent trip to NYC, my husband and I returned to our hotel room to find these chic water bottles on our bedside tables. Naturally, the crafter in me knew that someday I could make good use of the empty bottles, so I had my husband stow them away in our luggage. Three months later, filled with m&m's and adorned with American Crafts Rub-ons, they make the perfect favor for a fun sports party!"
And here's her easy to follow steps for creating your own cool treat bottles:
1. In Word, create a 2.5" text box. Format the fill and line to a color of your choice.
2. In Word, create a 1.75" circle. Format the fill and line to white and center the circle within the colored text box.
3. Using a 2" circle punch, cut the white circle so that there is a small colored border surrounding it.
4. Add Minimark Rub-on to the center of the circle.
5. Adhere circle to bottle with pop dots.
6. Fill bottle with your favorite candy and enjoy!
Thanks, Beth! They're so fun and colorful.
And now let's see what you come up with...
1. The layout or card must be posted to an
online gallery or blog with American Crafts in your supply list.
2. You must leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your layout online. You also must fill in your email address when posting your comment on this blog post.
3. Layouts and links must be posted by midnight PST on Thursday, January 21.
Good luck everyone!
Yay, Diana! I loved this when I saw it during my Sketchy Thursday travels. Congrats on winning!
