We loved seeing all of your takes on the sketches! And for a chance to win a prize pack of the Heat Wave line we've got a new challenge for you to tackle...
And even though it's a summer and beach themed line, Heat Wave can definitely make a love layout hot! Take this great example from Design Team member Paige...
Supplies: 12 x 12 Cardstock Vanilla (71041) – AC Cardstock, Cherry
Cowabunga Paper (35108) – Heat Wave, Molten Melon Paper (35117) – Heat Wave,
Day in the Sun (70062) – Flair, Paper Flowers (77238) – Beach House, Printed
Chipboard (77239) – Beach House, Chestnut Niki Riki (53038) – Thickers, Aqua
Niki Riki (53039) – Thickers, Grapefruit Niki Riki (53040) – Thickers,
Sunflower Niki Riki (53041) – Thickers, Snapper Journaling (42708) – Remarks,
Solid Glue Runner (61711) – This to That, .03 Black (62311) - Precision Pen
Paige says: "I had so much fun using a beach-themed line to create a “love” layout. Flowers, arrows, and glitter really add to the lovey dovey effect. I made circular borders around a single photograph from house shapes like paper flowers as well as elements cut out from patterned paper like glitter flowers and glitter arrows. A couple lines of white and brown stitching through each row adds some definition. I just love the versatility of all these new lines by American Crafts!"
Now it's your turn to show us the love!
1. The layout with American Crafts in your supply list.
2.

Okay, I'm a bit confused here,- can I do a card instead of a layout? In the assignment it says to make a layout, but in the criterias for posting it says layouts OR cards. Can I make a card? And also, in the assignemt it only states that you need to use two or more AC products, but in the criterias for posting your submission it says you have to say which sketch you used. Do I need to use a sketch (and in that case, what sketches are you referring to) or not?
I have an idea for a card without using a scetch in my head, and I want to know if I can participate with that =)
