It's Wednesday and you know what that means... it's time to deliver with some Postmarked cards. We've got two great Letterbox cards along with their sketches to inspire you today.
First up is this beautiful one from Design Team member Susan...
Supplies: See You Paper (35019) - Letterbox Collection, Cheers Paper (35016) - Letterbox Collection, Hello Paper (35018) - Letterbox Collection, Parcel Accents (43368) - MiniMarks, Thoughtful Phrases (42667) - Remarks, Elements Mini Jewel (85495) - Brads, 12x12 Cardstock Blush (71014) - AC Cardstock, 12x12 Cardstock Vanilla (71041) - AC Cardstock
Susan says: "Try stitching straight lines on a card and accenting the stitch lines with a mini rhinestone brad at each end. The stitch lines on my card radiate from my greeting in order to add emphasis to that part of the card."
So pretty and I definitely want try my own stitched rays accented with brads. Here's another great sketch from Design Team member Martha...
Supplies: Remarks Thoughtful Phrase Stickers (42667) -Elements
Letterbox Buttons (85497) - Letterbox Response pp (35028) - Letterbox
Warm Wishes pp (35007) -Letterbox Madam pp (35025) - Letterbox Signed
pp (35024) - Cardstock Butter (71040)
Martha says: "When I received the Letterbox line of pp the first thing I thought was
that they looked like gorgeous vintage fabrics! I layered strips of
paper on the card and sewed around the edge to give the effect of a
quilt, the cute little Letterbox buttons in the corners carry the
sewing theme through and give extra dimension. The Thoughtful Remarks
sticker is backed with cardstock and adhered with foam pop dots."
Absolutely perfect use of that patterned paper! Hope these give you some great sketches to use on your next card.
gorgeous card!!! I am in love with this line of pp's!
