Need a fast, inexpensive, and easy way to dress up a gift or bit of home decor, or even give as a gift? Michelle Lanning has just the tutorial for you!
First you will need these supplies: Charcoal (59501) - Pigment Ink, Decorative Tags (85543) - Bits, Hello Sunshine Fabric Brads (85544) - Elements, Sing Along (59212) - Clear Stamps, Small Acrylic Block (59011) - Stamping; Other: Muslin
I grabbed some muslin from my fabric stash and tore a piece that is roughly an inch thick and 24 inches long. This can be any size, it just really depends on the size of the stamps you want to use.
I started with the bicycle stamp (my favorite!) and stamped it repeatedly across the material. I only used one stamp, but you could do many different mixed up patterns.
I repeated these steps with the radio and flower stamps. For something a little different I varied the flower stamp on the fabric. This makes it look less intentional and more like I tore a piece of fabric that was made this way.
As you can see I had fun and went a little crazy! I will definitely be making some more of these!
Here I tied the stamped bicycle piece around a can holding some pretty flowers. It adds that vintage look that I love.
I wrapped the stamped flowers fabric around two books that I am giving as a gift. So simple and cute!
And of course, for my scrappy friends, I wrapped some stamped material around some tags that they can use any way they want!
PS - Come back later today for our weekly giveaway!!
