We've made the perfect glitter cardstock hybrid with American Crafts' new POW! Micro Glitter Paper. Made with a brilliant sparkle that never (ever!) rubs off the sheet and a thin, easily manipulated material, this cardstock can even be run smoothly through die-cutting machines. We're excited to share with you what our talented team members have created with this new amazing product. Today Jen Jockisch and Jenny Chesnick have created a collection of fun sparkly projects:
Supplies: 12 x 12 Cardstock White (71081) - AC Cardstock, 12x12 Cardstock Blush (71014) - AC Cardstock, 12x12 Glitter Cardstock Lavendar (71436) - AC Specialty Paper, 12x12 Glitter Cardstock Chestnut (71428) - AC Specialty Paper, 12x12 Glitter Cardstock Evergreen - AC Specialty Paper, 12x12 Glitter Cardstock Blush (71433) - AC Specialty Paper, Fancy Geyser (53113) - Thickers, Just Dandy (82304) - Mementos, Reinforced Decorative Tags (77242) - Bits, Duke (89390) - Ribbon, Precision Pen Black .01 (62301) - AC Pens & Markers
Jen notes, "My blog assignment this month was to work with the POW! glitter papers. After playing with them a little, I realized that they were thin enough to be run through my Silhouette, so I cut a background and some butterflies and used those as the main base for my layout and used a leftover butterfly for my card. These papers are so much fun and add tons of sparkle. I especially love that you can use them with the Silhouette, usually glitter cardstock is way too thick to cut but these work beautifully!"
Supplies: Silver (71511) - Pow! Glitter Paper, Marine (71512) - Pow! Glitter Paper, Blossom (71541) - Pow! Glitter Paper, Navy (58598) - Sheer Specialty Ribbon, Tulle (58594) - Basics Specialty Ribbon, Twine (58520) - Basics Specialty Ribbon, Sunny White (53122) - Thickers, The Classics Large Fabric Brads (85524) - Elements; Misc supplies: Gesso, Punch by Marvy, Wood Stars, Wood Heart & Floral Wire
Jenny exclaims, "When I saw the POW! papers live and in person I knew I needed to make something sparkly for the summer holidays. I searched my local craft store for wood pieces to layer together to make my own custom door hanging. I used floral wire to connect my pieces all together."
Come back tomorrow for a major announcement!
