Heidi Sonboul is going to show us step-by-step how to make this beautiful placecard topiary:
Supplies: Sunflower (71038) - Cardstock, Poppy (71501) - Cardstock, Tangerine (71034) - Cardstock, Daisy's Diner Paper (35539) - Garden Cafe, Clover Cantina Paper (35537) - Garden Cafe, Wishful Day Paper (35610) - Daydreams, Fall Foliage Paper (35526) - Nightfall, Basic Adhesive Chalk Labels (42208) - Remarks, Field House Paper Leaves (77258) - House, Thanks (70072) - Flair, Elm Vanilla (53216) - Thickers; Other: 2 Styrofoam balls, wooden stick, hot glue gun, flowerpot, flower punch, floral moss
Step 1) Collect your supplies.
Step 2) Cut the first foam ball down to fit into flower pot and push the wooden stick into it. Then push the second foam ball onto the top of the wooden stick and use hot glue to keep the stick in place.
Step 3) Punch out a lot of flowers from the patterned papers and cardstock.
Step 4) Bend the flower petals up.
Step 5) Glue the flower to the top of the foam ball.
Step 6) Keep hot gluing on flowers until you have covered the whole foam ball.
Step 7) Cover the top of the flowerpot with floral moss and a few cute embellishments like paper leaves and a piece of Flair. On the front of the flower pot add a letter for the person's name on a chalk label sticker.
Step 8) Repeat for as many guests as you have then set them around the table so people will know where to sit.
These are definitely going to be eye candy at Heidi's Thanksgiving dinner table!
Super genius idea! I love it! It just a simple way to pull out some supplies and create a gorgeous home decor for these holidays. Thanks for share it :D
