MONOCHROMATIC CANVAS by Lilith Eeckels

Supplies: Conference Call Paper (35778)-Ready Set Go, Bundle Paper (35927)-Yes Please, Trust Paper (35935)-Yes Please, Bakers Twine Basics (89423)-Premium Ribbon, Boho Black Glitter Thickers (53423)-Thickers, Elements Buttons Personal (85630)-Elements

Step 1: Gather your supplies: a canvas (mine is 9.5” square), 1 sheet of brown cardstock cut to 9” square, 1 sheet of kraft cut to 8.5" square, a sheet of brown polka dot paper from the Amy Tangerine READY SET GO collection, some buttons, and Thickers. I chose to work with burlap Thickers as well as some glitter foam ones. I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop which includes the tree, the hearts, as well as the quote.

 

Step 2: Paste the brown cardstock onto the canvas adding the kraft sheet on top.

 

 

Step 3: Thin down some white acrylic paint or gesso and add a few brush strokes.

 

 

Step 4: Place the tree to the left and glue it down.

 

 

Step 5: Add three buttons and the kraft cards. Placing the heart onto foam dots will add depth and dimension to the canvas.

 

Step 6: Add the title mixing Thickers with the die cut quote.

 

 

Step 7: I added a bit of brown baker's twine to the bottom part of the canvas as well as a few dots I found on the glitter foam thicker sheets.

 

All finished! Now you have a lovely peice of home decor!
