Gratitude Week!

This month it's all about giving thanks and sharing what we're grateful for. So Gratitude Week it is - and I can't wait to share with you what our team has created! Today I'm sharing a pair of layouts I made to go along with Gratitude Week:

To make this layout I die cut a large leaf from Autumn Avenue paper. I cut strips from each of the papers in the Autumn Crisp collection and punched and trimmed the edges to make them fun then adhered them all around the die cut leaf. I re-cut the leaf from the back using sharp scissors and then backed the open leaf with Walnut Lane paper. I stitched around the leaf to keep everything in place permanently and then drew inside the leaf with a white pen. Then it was a matter of adding photos and embellishing to my heart's contebt!

For this layout I used white paint over three doily stencils across the top of a blue cardstock background for a cloud look. Then I die cut a branch from Walnut Lane paper. I punched leaves from all of the Autumn Crisp papers, sewed down the centers, and adhered them over the branch. Over the bottom I placed tornn strips of paper to ground the layout. I added photos and a Thickers title along with journaling across wavy pen lines.
