Winter Week!

There's snow on the ground, there's a chill in the air, and it's much too cold to go outside (unless you're brave and prepared!). So cuddle up to the fire and enjoy Winter-themed projects from our design team this week to help you scrap those winter photos and send cards to loved ones this season. Elizabeth Gardner (Blog: Elizabeth Gardner | Instagram: @myscrappylife | Pinterest: @elizgardner) starts us off with a pair of wonderful layouts:

How To: Place dimensional snowflake stickers on patterned paper. Decide placement of photos. Begin to layer pieces behind the photos: tags, stickers, pieces of patterned paper. Glue everything down. Place title. Create bows from ribbon and twine and place in layers on top of the corner of left photo. Place additional stickers on photos and corner of patterned paper. Write journaling.

How To: Trim white cardstock to slightly smaller than 12x12. Adhere to black cardstock sheet (to give it a nice black frame.) Splatter ink onto the page as desired. To achieve the large drops pour a bit of mist into the cap and slowly splatter it across the page. Set cardstock aside to fully dry. While the page is drying use a small paintbrush to paint the same mist colors onto wood veneer. Allow to dry. Adhere the pieces of veneer to the page. Tie twine around the photo. Adhere photo. Place tags and label sticker. Stamp the date. Write the journaling and place the title.
