Allison Waken (Blog: Allison Waken | Instagram: @allisonwaken | Pinterest: @allison_waken | Twitter: @allisonwaken) is here to show you step-by-step how to make this awesome frame featuring Nesting Dies!
Supplies: White (71081) - Cardstock, Black (71082) - Cardstock, Associate (366860) - Dies, 3D Foam Dots (61709) - This To That
Black and white is a favorite color combo in my own home but also for gifts because it's so versatile. I decided I wanted to make a little script art piece for a shelf and black on white was the perfect compliment. To make this, start by cutting out a favorite die shape with your die cut machine. I used the "xoxo" script from the Amy Tangerine Plus One Associate die set.
Next, cut a piece of white cardstock to fit a frame. I removed the glass on this one so the 3D effect could be seen better.
I put the cardstock in the frame for easier positioning. Lay out the dies in the position you want them. I alternated between regular liquid adhesive and this to that foam dots to adhere the cut pieces to the white cardstock.
Allow to dry and it's as simple as that! A lot of the dies would make for a fun repeating pattern like this for a different look.
What a timeless piece of home decor!
Simple and lovely!
