Gillian Nelson (Blog: Gillian Nelson | Instagram: @gnelson05 | Pinterest: @gilliann | Twitter: @GillianNelson05) created a pair of outstanding Christmas cards that anyone I'm sure would love to receive:
Supplies: Cards & Envelopes (366014) - A2 White; Be Merry (368911) - Checking It Twice paper, (368917) - Let It Snow paper, (368919) - Holiday Cheer paper, (368920) - Candy Cane Lane paper, (368929) - Snow Wood Veneer Shapes, (368925) - Red Glitter Thickers; DIY Shop (366620) - Wooden Clothespins; Adhesives (AMF617-09) - This to That Foam Circles; Pens (PP05-62321) - Precision Pen .05 Black
How to: Choose several sheets of paper from the Be Merry line and cut narrow strips from each sheet. Ink the edges of the strips of paper. Trim the strips into shorter segments, and form a Christmas tree shape on the card front, overlapping the strips in the center. Add foam Thicker asterisks to the centers of three wood veneer snowflake shapes and adhere the snowflakes to the card using foam dots to add dimension. Adhere a DIY wooden clothespin towards the bottom of the tree shape to form the "trunk". Hand write "merry merry!" on a strip of white cardstock and use the clothespin to hold the greeting on the page.
Supplies: DIY Shop (DIY-C-66659) - A2 Cards & Envelopes/Kraft; Be Merry (368925) - Red Glitter Thickers, (368926) - Accent & Phrase Cardstock Stickers; Pens (CSGP-62585) - Candy Shop Gel Pen/White
How to: Spell out "JOY" using the Be Merry foam glitter Thickers on a kraft card front. Use additional random letters to fill in the rest of the card front, leaving a space in the top right corner. Write "find joy" in the open space using a white gel pen. Add small cardstock star stickers scattered across the card and place a small white dot in the center of each star with the gel pen.
That's a cute Christmas card. I like the idea of forming a Christmas tree using those paper strips and adding a clothespin is very unique. Sending this card to your family or friend this holiday is a perfect gift idea.
