Once Gillian Nelson (Blog: Gillian Nelson | Instagram: @gnelson05 | Pinterest: @gilliann | Twitter: @GillianNelson05) starts making cards, she can't stop, and we love them all! Here is a trio of kid-themed cards she made to share with you today:
Supplies: Shimelle True Stories (370743) - Die Cut Cardstock Shapes, (370745) - Wood Buttons; DIY Shop (366900) - Mini Stapler; Cards (368574) - Kraft 4x5.5 Note Cards; Cardstock (AM71-793) - White 12x12
How to: Adhere the True Stories ruler die cut towards the bottom of a kraft note card. Add mini staples to one end of the die cut. Adhere a 3x3 photo. Print journaling on white cardstock, cut into strips, and add them across the photo. Embellish with wood buttons.
Supplies: Shimelle True Stories (370704) - Grey Floral Paper, (370717) - Frappe Paper, (370719) - Berry Infusion Paper, (370722) - Cinnamon Roll Paper, (370721) - Orange Pekoe Paper, (370736) - Enamel Dots; Cards (368574) - Kraft 4x5.5 Note Cards; Cardstock (AM71-793) - White 12x12; DIY Shop (366900) - Mini Stapler
How to: Adhere a strip of the True Stories Grey Floral paper to the bottom edge of a kraft note card. Adhere a 3x2 photo to the card. Print journaling on white cardstock, trim to the same length as the photo, and adhere above and below the picture. Trim very narrow strips from five True Stories papers and adhere them above the top journaling strip, so they resemble candles on a cake. Add enamel dots above the candles as “flames”. Add a mini staple to the top journaling strip for texture.
Supplies: Shimelle True Stories (370710) - Cappuccino Paper, (370736) - Enamel Dots, (370729) - Hipster Multicolor Thickers, (370730) - Hipster Black Thickers, (370733) - Phrase Stickers; DIY Shop (369127) - White Letter Stickers, (366900) - Mini Stapler; Cards (368574) - Kraft 4x5.5 Note Cards; Cardstock (AM71-793) - White 12x12
How to: Add a 3.5 inch strip of True Stories Cappuccino patterned paper to a kraft notecard and trim the edges. Adhere a 3x3 photo over the paper strip. Print journaling on white cardstock and adhere the journaling strip beneath the photo. Embellish with a phrase sticker, Thickers, and enamel dots.
