How to: Die cut the hearts from white cardstock and leave it on the mat. Watercolor a rainbow of stripes across the top half of and let it dry. I found the paper doesn't crinkle as much if you leave it on the sticky mat while painting. Or use actual watercolor paper :) Lift off the cardstock then back each heart with patterned paper - use foam dots to adhere them in place. Embellish some of the hearts with buttons and enamel dots placing them on like colors. Emboss banners onto white cardstock and use it as a photo mat on the bottom right. Tuck a journaling card under the left side and stamp the date below. Stitch a Thickers title above the photo and add mini alphabet stickers to finish the title. Place a few of the watercolored hearts by the photo and the left left corner.
Supplies: 5th & Frolic (35827) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Lucky Charm (35990) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Daydreamer (366767) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Polka Dot Party (366214) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Neapolitan (35658) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Daydreamer (366796) - Wood Buttons, Thickers (53343) - Muse Woodgrain, Shimelle (368164) - Phrase & Alphabet Stickers, Shimelle (368166) - Small Sticker Book, Shimelle (368168) - Rub On Transfers, Shimelle (368170) - Date Stamp Set, Shimelle (368180) - 3 Piece Pen Set, DIY Shop (366626) - Light Burlap Bows, Polka Dot Party (661959) - Accent and Phrase Stickers, Special Delivery (732485) - 12x12 Paper Pad, Paper Punch (63120) - 2" Heart
How to: Watercolor a light rainbow down a pink lined paper from the Special Delivery 12x12 Paper Pad by Pebbles then let it dry. Punch 2" hearts from Dear Lizzy 6x6 paper pads then fold each heart in half. Adhere the petals on a circle of scrap cardstock then sew a spiral on the center to keep the petals of each flower in place. Layer the flowers and photos down the page and stitch a line across the flowers. Add an embellishment to the center of each flower. Create a Thickers title and embellish with additional stickers, rub ons, chipboard, burlap bow, and more as shown. Write journaling and stamp the date the finish.
Supplies: Cardstock, wooden buttons, dimensional flower, dimensional tag sticker, enamel dots, pen, roller date stamp, adhesive, stapler: American Crafts; Die cuts: American Crafts (balloon, "moments"), Crate Paper (arrow, bows, flower, hearts); Badge, chipboard (dimensional arrow, hearts, pennant), journaling spot sticker: Crate Paper; Wood veneer: American Crafts (feather), Crate Paper ("sweetie pie"); Watercolors: Studio Calico; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo by QuicKutz; Rose background cut file: Violets Lace by American Crafts Design ID #22872
How to: Watercolor diagonal stripes in a rainbow across white cardstock and let it dry. Die cut the Violets Lace from the watercolored cardstock then staple it to a white cardstock layout.
