Since I have a baby boy mostly I scrap about him and about his milestones. And yes yes because he’s a boy, blue becomes a must in some layouts. I chose this blue paper which has moon and night city view for my baby layout! You can find it in Shimelle's new collection, Starshine.
Because the paper already represents a boy’s world and already has a pretty view, I chose to scrap with minimal embellishments. I scrapped my 6x9cm black and white photo of me and my son and placed it right in the middle. I did it to make it balance between the photo and also the background. I chose some positive die-cut words in this collection to remind him how to shine and dream.
Just because you do simple layouts doesn’t mean you can't do any techniques. Layering is a great technique! I layered some die cuts and pasted the tiny cute flairs around the photo. I also pasted some white acrylic stickers for the last touch to this layout. To make it a more perfect night scene, I pasted some chipboard stars inside the moon.
Starshine is a perfect collection for a boy theme. I believe you couldn’t agree more with me. *wink
Beautiful!
