Creating colorful pocket pages with a clean linear design is a great way to tell a story. Here I used Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine and Dear LIzzy's Documentary to highlight some winter photos. The pictures might be a little bit gray, but the layout is anything but dull.
Supplies: Finders Keepers (40333) -Scout Die Cut Paper, Thickers (83691) - Hooray Alpha, Remarks (40409) - Wonderland Snowflakes, Christmas Magic (40644) - Rubons, Documentary (40197) - 6x6 Paper Pad, Documentary (40207) Wood Buttons, Christmas Magic (340618) - Jingle Paper. Kits (340091) - Embellished Glittered Ornaments.
How to: Cut 4x4 squares from Documentary 6x6 pad. Embellish the blue calendar square with a Thicker title, glittered snowflake sticker and wood button. Next, layer the polka dot pattern and split diagonally with gray patterned paper. Layer a strip from the Christmas Magic paint chip paper, glittered snowflake and wood button. On the opposite side, start by cutting apart the Finders Keepers die cut sheet. Fill the pockets with 3x4 cards and add journaling. Use Thickers alphabet and rub ons to add words and a sentiment to the plain cards. Add an embellished snowflake to the bottom card for a finishing touch!
So very pretty!
