Hello, and thank you for joining us for Fall week. For my Fall layout this week, I decided to change things up a bit by using a 3d pop up cut file. 3D cut files are great for adding dimension to your pages. To see details about this cut file you can visit here.
I started my project out by cutting my background cut file out of kraft cardstock. Next, I used a bone folder to fold over each of the chevrons. I then placed a patterned paper behind the cut file from the Shimelle Go Now Go collection. Next, I used a paint brush to splatter white paint across my page.
For the next step, I printed out a small photo and framed it with a chipboard frame from the collection. I then embellished my page using stickers, washi tape, puffy stickers and wood buttons.
Here's a fun tip - the banner sticker on my page is from the Go Now Go accent & phrase sticker book. It had colors and letters on it that clashed with my page, so I decided to use the backside (the white side) of the sticker to get an all white banner. To remove the stickiness from the backside of my banner sticker I used a small paintbrush and brushed it gently with baby powder. Then used Sticky Thumb adhesive to adhere it to my page.
