Hello Everyone! It's Sandra here, welcoming you to the American Crafts studio blog with a fun last-minute neighbor gift inspiration. This tutorial is for cookie cutters in a decorated wooden box.
This is the perfect last-minute gift for the sweet neighbors around you. The cookie cutters can double as Christmas tree ornaments as well, how great is that? All you need to do is back them with a pretty patterned paper and add some string.
To make this special neighbor Christmas gift, you will need the following materials:
- cookie cutters (any shape will do!)
- patterned paper
- scissors
- baker's twine
- transparent tape
- gift box (I used a wooden one)
For the cookie cutter ornaments: first, place the cookie cutter on a patterned paper. Second, use a pencil to trace the shape onto the paper. Third, cut the shape out with your scissors. Fourth, add a hook at the top with baker’s twine. Fifth, adhere the paper onto the back of the cookie cutter with transparent tape.
Once your cookie cutters are ready, put them into a nicely decorated wooden box. If you want to, you can add a sheet of tissue paper to wrap the cookie cutters in. Don't forget to include a Christmas card or tag!
Let’s have a final look at this special last-minute neighbor gift in a decorated wooden box.
I'm sure your neighbors will adore this sweet gift! I hope this inspired you to create and to give! Wishing you a lovely day.
